New Release!

Yay! It's out in ebook format! Yeehaw!

Go to the Resplendence Publishing page and read the blurb, and buy it for the Everyday Low Price of $5.00.

Yes, you can teach your smartphone to read ebooks. And the Palm Pilot that's been in a drawer for five years? It wants to learn Mobipocket and bring you a few years of reading pleasure.

Come on. You know you want to. ;)

Magdalena

Meanwhile, I'm pondering the printing and autographing of special bookmarks for ebook purchasers. More on that when I figure out the process.

  1. That would be a nice gift, Magdalena.

  2. Thanks, Sia! You like the bookmark idea? Me too. Saves LOTS of paper over a print book, easier to store...

  3. Congrats, Magdalena! I can't wait to read this one!

  4. Hey--thanks, Maddie! Of course your new release looks great!

Everybody, check out "Dates du Jour" on the Resplendence Publishing front page, right next to "Where Her Heart Is." This is the newest in Maddie's "Matchmaking Chef" series. Remember Suzie Schul from the first Legend anthology? She's the matchmaking chef. Neat, huh?

  7. Let me know what you come up with with signing an E-book! What about signing the a sleeve of a cd-rom with it on there?

  8. Hm. Well, people who buy the book from Resplendence of Fictionwise don't get a CD. They just get a "download." And of course a cardboard bookmark is pointless for actual use with an ebook. I think people like to have something signed from the author--I know I do.

I thought maybe a bookmark, but perhaps something different is better. Okay, still pondering...

Other suggestions? Bookmark, CD sleeve, ______________

  9. Maggie and I sat on the deck and started reading the new book. I can see I won't get much done now until it is finished. I love a book that is hard to put down or in this case to turn off. How exciting!! Jonell

  10. Jonell, I'm so glad you're enjoying it! Just guessing Maggie isn't really reading along...is she? That is one smart kitten, though!

  11. For those of you with a palm pilot, ebooks are great!!!! It is wonderful to have something fun to read when unexpectantly caught waiting. The only problem is it is tough to turn off what you are reading and get back to the task/appt at hand. It allows for a joyful escape that is unplanned.

  12. Thanks for the e-reading testimonial, Garden Girl!

I think if something happened to IPAQ (shudder to even say that), I would probably purchase a used Palm Pilot through Ebay and do the Mobipocket thing.
