We can almost see it
This last couple of weeks has been an exciting ride, watching our nine-book set, LOVE IN A SMALL TOWN, climb rather steadily in the Amazon rankings. Saturday night we hit a new list, one that made us bestsellers. This was my first time ever to have a bestseller ranking. What a thrill!
I wanted to post a picture of Maddie, Jan, and Janet and me throwing our arms up in the air as we rode a roller coaster. But since that picture doesn't exist, here is one depicting a slightly different depiction of our sales "ride."
We can almost see it--the Amazon promised land, if you will.
We were at #207 in the Amazon sales ranking, and it looked as if we might break into the magical 100. It really seemed possible. I believe in this series, and having it finally sell well means a lot of new readers are getting to know our imaginary town of Legend, Tennessee.
Then Sunday evening the ranking went the other direction. Ouch. As of this writing, it hasn't been a plummet, but more of a gentle slide.
If you haven't bought your copy of the set, now is the time. For one thing, the price goes up in mid-December or so.
For another thing, if we hit the top 100, you will have four very excited romance writers doing happy dances, shouting, laughing, crying.
